October 26, 2019 @ 10:00 am 4:00 pm

Understanding the Fundamentals of Mindfulness Practice

Come and learn the basic “nuts and bolts” of Mindfulness practice with Dave Smith. Drawing from the framework of early Buddhist psychology, the four foundations of mindfulness and the four noble truths, Dave will offer a compressive, yet simple approach to the cultivation of Mindfulness. Emphasizing the practical aspects of the practice, you will be able to start or deepen your practice immediately. This framework will be integrated into some of the modern approaches and understanding of the practice of mindfulness and its realistic benefit rooted in the science of emotion and neuroplasticity. There will be guided practices, educational teachings and some time for Q&A.
Anyone interested in the topic is welcome to attend. No previous experience is needed.  (Register below.)
