July 9 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm

Event Navigation

Insight Meditation is a simple technique that develops our natural capacity to be aware. This practice concentrates and calms the mind. At the heart of Insight Meditation is the practice of mindfulness, which cultivates a clear, stable and non-judgmental awareness. Mindfulness practice can be highly effective in helping bring calm and clarity to daily life. It is also a spiritual path that develops wisdom and compassion, two qualities of mind-heart which strengthen our capacity to meet life’s ups and down with increasing integrity, freedom from suffering, and ease. This class will focus on development of mindfulness of breathing, mindfulness of the body, mindfulness of em

otions, mindfulness of thinking, mindfulness of mind, and mindfulness in daily life and in deepening one’s spiritual life.

The class will be held from 6:30pm to 8:00pm on the following Monday evenings: July 9, 16, 23, 30, and August 6, 13
